MODEL: BD-PON-J3
The J3 PON Optical Power Meter is a handheld tester for GPON, EPON, APON, and BPON networks. It measures downstream signals at 1490nm and 1550nm, and upstream signals at 1310nm. The device features dedicated ports for OLT/Video and ONU detection, with insertion loss <1.5 dB. It provides pass/fail threshold testing and has a built-in VFL for fault locating. The meter includes a USB interface for data transfer, stores measurement results, and weighs 423 g. Powered by three 1.5V batteries, it operates for up to 90 hours. Operating temperature is -10°C to 60°C.

The PON optical Power Meter is a handheld testing equipment with a good quality, low loss, and small size. The optical power meter is designed for FTTx PON network installation, maintenance, and testing, and may be used for GPON, EPON, APON, and BPON networks. The OLT/Video and ONU output ports on the fiber power meter support CW/burst downstream signal detection at 1490/1550nm and upstream detection at 1310nm. By threshold testing, the fiber optic power meter can directly display the status of pass, caution, or failure. It is an excellent optic tool for setting up and maintaining PONs.
